LOMBOK

Lombok, often called the island of the thousand machetes, is very ethnically and culturally diverse. Located east of Bali covers 4700 square kilometers and is dominated by mountain range and its 13 peaks, one of them Gunung Rinjani – the third tallest Indonesian mountain. This island differs from Bali not only as to culture and traditions but also climate and nature, Bali more Asian compared to Lombok with its Australian influences. Its beaches less traveled retained their original nature, but the western part of the island offers wide range of accommodations and tourist attractions.
